Composite Decking – a Collection of the Best
There has been a huge shift in the landscaping market towards using composite decking materials. In fact last year, 30% of our decking projects were completed using composite material Trex or Millboard.
Trex and Millboard offer superior durability and will not rot, warp or splinter. These composite materials are available in an array of gorgeous colours and will never need to be sanded and painted unlike timber decking.
Join us on a trip down memory lane, revealing our most impressive Trex and Millboard projects, ever! Be prepared to be inspired and dream about a minimal maintenance garden.
The coastal village of Beadnell is perfect for this sea of Grey Island Mist Trex. As a contrast, traditional wooden decking was used around the elegant South Seas 627M hot tub. This project is so good it officially holds the title of ‘UK’s Best Hot Tub Project 2016’.
This Nevis 33 hot tub is nestled in Vintage Lantern Trex complete with a sculpted picture frame border. Trex isn’t just beautiful, it’s Eco-friendly too! The boards are manufactured from an innovative blend of 95% recycled timber and plastic.
This is probably our most most talked about Trex project. It is widely recognised having gained a Gold award for ‘Best Hot Tub Project’. Featuring the popular Grey Island Mist colour, the cedar fascia’s add a real ‘wow factor’ to this gorgeous Cyclone hot tub project.
This all-time favourite project has been made to feel like a secluded bubble. The Trex steps in Tiki Torch lead the way to the best-selling USA Cyclone hot tub. There’s no better place to relax after a stressful day.
This Millboard Golden Oak project has a very woodlike appearence – in fact just by looking at it, you may not even realise its composite! Millboard is made from a unique blend of natural minerals, bonded with a polymer resin.
A timeless masterpiece crafted using Trex Vintage Lantern as the main colour, contrasted by Tiki Torch. Complimented by flush-mounted decking LED’s, this project wowed judges of the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards 2018 securing a Gold Award for ‘Best Project £14,000 and under’. The shelved area allows hot tubbers to place drinks, towels and robes right where they need them.
This 748B hot tub in grey cabinetry met it’s prefect match in Millboard’s enhanced grain Smoked Oak. The Millboard deck looks exquisite and is anti-slip due to it’s unique blend of minerals and deep grain. Millboard is also manufactured right here in the UK!
In picturesque Bambrugh, we installed Trex Grey Island Mist to submerge a powerful TidalFit EP-15 Swim Spa. Our client loved Trex so much we made some planters out of it too!
This mammoth project involved split levelled Tiki Torch and Vintage Lantern Trex. The design involved over 170 lengths of Trex and is the biggest project we have ever completed! The Grand Bahama’s cabinet slightly protrudes allowing access for routine maintenance.
